Use of the site
SensorCatalog provides calculators, reference tables and explanations free of charge. You may use the results in your own work, including commercial projects and documents such as calculation reports and check sheets.
Engineering estimates, no warranty
The calculators implement published standards and are tested against reference values, but results are engineering estimates. They do not replace the sensor manufacturer’s datasheet, a calibration certificate, the applicable standard or the judgement of a qualified person. Before using a result for safety-related, legal-metrology, contractual or other critical purposes, verify it independently.
The site is provided “as is”, without warranty of accuracy, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose. To the extent permitted by applicable law, SensorCatalog is not liable for damage resulting from the use of the calculators or the information on the site. Liability that cannot be excluded by law, such as for intent or gross negligence, remains unaffected.
Content and copyright
The texts, tables, page design and software of SensorCatalog are protected by copyright. You may quote and link to them with attribution. Copying the site or substantial parts of it in bulk, including by automated means, requires our permission. Standards and reference functions cited belong to their respective publishers.
Links, sponsored content and advertising
The site links to other websites, including SensorSpan for sensor inquiries. We are not responsible for the content of linked sites. If sponsored content, affiliate links or advertising appear, they are labelled as such, kept visually separate from calculation results and marked rel=“sponsored”; calculation results are never influenced by them.
Availability and changes
We may change, extend or discontinue calculators and content at any time. Pages you saved for offline use may show an older version until you are online again.
